OMNI Install: a website that turns "IKEA kitchen" searches into quote requests
A bilingual website for an IKEA kitchen, cabinet and wardrobe installer in Greater Montreal: pages built for local search, a gallery of real jobs, and a quote form that receives customers' plans.
The client
OMNI Install installs IKEA kitchens (SEKTION cabinets, MAXIMERA drawers, countertops), cabinets from RONA and other manufacturers, PAX wardrobes and custom floor-to-ceiling wardrobes. The company serves Montreal, the West Island, Laval and the South Shore, for both French- and English-speaking customers.
The challenge
- Get found at the right moment. Customers search Google right after ordering their IKEA kitchen, with very specific queries like "IKEA kitchen installation Montreal".
- Quote without a site visit. To give an accurate price, the installer needs the IKEA plan and photos of the room with the very first request.
- Speak to both audiences. Many customers in the West Island and Westmount are English-speaking.
- Prove the quality of the work. In this trade, trust is earned with photos of real jobs and customer reviews.
What we built
A service page built for Google
The "IKEA kitchen installation in Montreal" page answers everything customers wonder before they call: how the installation works, the SEKTION specialty, finishing panels, countertops, appliances, the starting price and the areas served. It ends with an FAQ of about ten questions, such as uneven walls, removing the old kitchen or how long the work takes.
One page per job
Each project has its own page, named after the type of work and the location: an IKEA walk-in pantry in Laval, an IKEA kitchen in Brossard, a kitchen with glass-front cabinets in Westmount, a custom floor-to-ceiling wardrobe… These pages reassure visitors and naturally answer local searches.
A quote form that receives plans
Customers attach their kitchen plan and photos directly: up to 10 PDF or image files, 15 MB in total. The request arrives by email with the attachments, and the "Reply" button writes straight back to the customer. A hidden trap field blocks bots, and Cloudflare Turnstile verification can be switched on if needed.
Bilingual, without friction
The site exists in French and English. On the first visit, visitors are sent to their language based on their browser settings, and their choice is remembered. The redirect happens on the server, so the page never flickers.
Social proof and calls to action
Google reviews are featured on the home page, and the "Request a quote" button appears at every step of the visit: in the menu, at the top of the page, after the services and at the bottom.
Under the hood
- Astro and Tailwind CSS: static, lightweight pages that load fast on mobile.
- Cloudflare Pages: global hosting, plus server functions for the form and the language choice.
- Resend: reliable delivery of quote requests, with attachments, from the client's own domain.
- WebP images and self-hosted fonts: fewer external requests and faster rendering.
